Grape’s metaphor

It was awesome to learn that grapevines, unlike other crops, do not require direct irrigation to flourish   and grow fruits. On the contrary, in very hard and dry soil, grapevines develop long and strong roots that go through clay, rocks and all sorts of soil layers, to find nurture. Worldwide best vineyards are located where water is deepest, providing grapes with more complex and delicious flavors. Wine produced with those grapes, offer the most exciting and awesome notes, like chocolate, species and flowers. These notes of flavor are not added manually, they come in the grape’s juice that had struggled to flourish on those seemly unfertile and difficult soils.

Many people believe that their life would be perfect without the challenges of a job, a spouse, children or their own health. Some of them spend huge amounts of energy complaining, warring, feeling depress, blaming others for their challenges or difficulties. Few consider acknowledge their roots, reviewing their core values, consulting with their inner wisdom, to overcome difficulties and flourish, transforming their negative thoughts about their circumstances into understanding, learning from them to become better human been.

When I face difficulties in life, I remember the way of the grapevines. The best vintages of life were planted digging deep, looking for nurture inside ourselves, even when we think it is scarce.  This is a personal transformation task I think should be a priority. We cannot share the fruits that we do not have. Like good wine, life is to share and enjoy with love ones, friends and family, but first we should reach inner peace.

My wish for you, who is reading this, is that you can dig deep with your roots, find answers, flourish and share with others, while experiencing happiness in the process.
